Bee -ing Prepared, for Spring, on the Off Grid Homestead

Spring on the Off-Grid Homestead. We prepare in the wilderness, bears & cougars abound, to receive 3 nuks of Honey Bees. Everyone loves honey, especially raw honey. With all the probiotics and anti-allergy qualities, there is no reason to not want local wild honey. We set up 3 bee hives to accept the arriving Honey Bees, keeping in mind that bears love honey too. How do you keep the bears away from the hives? Imagine being a bear; you love sweet honey. You're minding your own business, and that sweet aroma is lofting in the air. Your nose tracks on to the scent trail, the urge is overwhelming, and you have got to find that sweet nectar. Out of your bear mind, you search and search, locked on to the sweet nectar. Now, what do we do?
