Yul Brynner was one of my favorite actors when I was 6 yrs and when I was 14 yr I was lucky enough to have seen him at the London Palladium in the King and I. I was mesmerised by him, he was very ill but he was still dancing and singing like nothing was wrong then he collapsed on stage, the curtains came down the play stopped and we was told to wait the play will go on Yul Brynner just needed to rest, he recoved enough to continue he came back and finished the play. The whole theater gave a standing ovation everyone was shouting and he took three bows it still make me cry. I didn't know then how ill he was.

I met him after seeing the king and I in Toronto. Wasn't long before he passed. He was nice. He smiled and said hello and asked if we enjoyed the show.

After watching this video, I realized that despite his ego, he finally gave in to become a real human, which I think will always remain a great human in the heart of his fans. Thank you. :)

I love Yul Brinner, a brilliant actor and a very sultry look almost all the time. Thankyou for the pics of him smiling, just beautiful. I watch the magnificent seven, and loved every actor involved. Steve McQueen was very cool. Love them all. These older movies keep these actors alive. I dont ever want to forget them.

Let us all PAY HOMAGE TO AN ACTOR SO BEAUTIFULLY PORTRAYING HIS ACTING SKILL IN A VERY MAGNIFICENT WAY 👍⭐

I have always admired Yul Bynner and thought he was an extremely handsome man and brilliant actor! I loved him. We all have our own personalities and perhaps his was formed due to a difficult childhood?! I think he was an amazing human being. I hope his children have inherited some of his talent. May he be resting in peace.❤️💔💯👏👏👏👏🤣🙏🌹🙏🌹

I think you did really good job of sharing with us the complex nature of the iconic Yul Bryner. I was first smitten by him when I saw him in The King & I. I think I'll always be a little smitten, but appreciate knowing more about his difficult character in real life. But still believe in him & hope he had more peace within himself toward end & more freedom from his ego. We all suffer from the antics of ego to some degree if we are overly identified with it & sounds like he had complexes of self esteem that made his more reactive. I wish him peace & joy in Light of God. I loved him in film version of King & I & the strength of the woman who bewildered him as King. Was really great movie. Thankyou. Was very interesting to hear more of his background & interests outside acting. Great job!❤

What I find amazing is how people seem to determine how they feel about an actor based on his personal life. I fall in love with the characters they play and how they portray that character. Not the person playing that character. I don't care about the person. I don't care about the real person's politics love life personal habits or anything real about them. I go see them to be entertained. Not for advice not for a friend not for their opinion or anything else for that matter. I will never hate him because he did a great job of being a certain character. Period.

I adored this actor. He had a magnetic screen presence and in some of his roles he was unbearably sexy. Good to know that, even if somewhat narcissistic, he was also very intelligent, and could be generous.

Yuk Brynner, not perfect, but definitely is exceptionally remarkable. His "etc etc" is and will always stay in my mind.

Yul Brynner was an incredibly charasmatic, masculine and sexy actor. I can't take my eyes off him still !

He was a brilliant one off need people with such individuality in our often mundane modern world - where people toe official lines so much they bore rather than know he spoke several languages so presume English may not have been his mother tongue, which makes his fine precise acting all the more remarkable....(the camera loved him and he was one of the most memorable and charismatic stars ever to grace the silver screen)
