Another quick one, if you're using the Blade tool, is to hold Alt and you'll only make a cut on the clip you selected. This is handy for cutting only one clip, even if it's linked with another! Love the vids, they're very helpful for both noobs and even vets! 🙏

The best way imo is to just highlight the tracks you want to by using the shift+click/cntrl+click shortcuts and then using the cntrl+B shortcut to slice. This all works on the edit page btw.

Or you can also select the clips which you want to slice...but what if you have multiple clips, then box select them...but what if you want to select only two clips and the third one is in between of those two, then hold down CTRL or Command and select those two clips or multiple clips....but what if (I swear even i'm tired writing this) you want to slice all the clips except one, then follow the video

Remember, it's always about which one is faster sometimes deselecting the track is faster and sometimes selecting the clips is way faster...you will learn which method to use as you edit more videos
There are multiple ways of doing the same things in davinci resolve...and that's what I love about it...

U can actually highlight multiple clips while holding control and it will only slice the ones that are highlited and leave alone the other clips
