Confucianism and its critiques: Legalism, Mohism and Daoism

A political system inherently divides its people into two classes: those who rule and those who are ruled. Even in a democracy, the majority effectively rules over the minority. For a political system to run smoothly, it must be based on the foundation that the ruling class has the right to command, and that the ruled class has a duty to obey. This duty isn't just any obligation—it's often far more stringent than any other, with disobedience potentially resulting in imprisonment or even death. Anarchists seek to dismantle this very foundation.
