As someone who was a kid during this time (5-6 years old) and a bonafide Nintendo fan, those words resonated with me, as I know they did with every kid who was a video gamer at that time.

Along with the product placement, this film also deals with being able to make peace with the past, mend bridges and move forward, as well as reach for the stars and take a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a part of something amazing and not only go the distance, but win it all in a genuinely great way.

I have The Wizard and also other 80s 90s movies all on digital copies as well as arcade games in my home to bring my child hood back, mortal kombat to ninja turtles 🐢 and others. Brings back so many memories.
