GACHA VS ARTIST TIKTOK WAR: What happened? (my reaction and rant)

Hey guys! What's up? Today's video is on the Artist VS Gacha tiktok war that for some reason involved the gamers too? This happened 2 years ago and since I SOMEWHAT shared my thoughts on it back then I felt like I could better share my thoughts now since the war has concluded and I have a better understanding for both gacha life / studio creators and gamers. This is from the standpoint of an artist as I am a traditional artist. These are just my thoughts and reaction to some funny little tiktoks about the war. ENJOY!

I'm glad you mentioned the time and effort talented gacha creators take to create their work because it does take a lot of time to learn how to tween, or in some cases even fully animate gacha series. For example, gacha content creators like Rozy Clozy (I think) fully animate their series, like The Music Freaks.

Just a quick rant: People always assume that Gachas don't take as much time as animators/artists, while I agree in some degree, because drawing takes a long time, and animation takes a HELL of a long time, but Gacha videos take just as long as the animators/artists. Many Gachas make series, and voice acted series or voice acted GL/GCMMs, and some people animate in Live 2D, and others take a long time JUST to make their character in Gacha club so they can take their time to make the character looks perfect. A lot of Gacha creators put time and effort into their content, and all of them take time into their videos. I see it often, actually. Lots of tweening, Voice Acting, art, ETC. these haters are just overlooking all the good of the community. Don't feel bad if you do Gacha, or quit because others tell you to. keep doing what you love, and you'll get those who appreciate your work <3

I'm frankly going to say, as a person who doesfull body paintings, as well as comic strips, gacha mini movies, gacha *editing*, and is very invested in games, I honestly don't think people were trying to see the other's side. Yes gacha is a game, and yes we chose art alreadycreted by somebody, but some people get so creative with that premade art, I've somebody create LUNGS AND A HEART in the new gacha club game. Artists are also understood by me, even a simple sketch can take from 2 to 4 hours for me, never mind not being happy with the original and redoing the entire thing. Gamers, you I'm not quite sure what you had to do with this war, but it is a valued skill to have the quick thinking mind or sharp reflexes that are required in most games.

In all honesty, tiktok wars area whole load of bs they do nothing but waste our time, especially since you don't have to be on strictly one side, as both sides have a lot in common most of the time.

As a person who was an artist that joined the Gacha community last year, this war makes no sense. Gacha and art compliment each other so much. Gacha inspires people to use their imagination and get creative and allows people to bring their characters to life. Art allows for the same amount of creativity. It's just silly for artists to put down Gacha content creators because they express their creativity in a different light. I honestly don't know why the gamers were involved though lol

At when she said like "when u work rlly hard but someone effortlessly gets viral" Or smth like that, it reminded me of when i worked SUPER DUPER HARD like the WHOOOLE day on a gacha tweening video, (cough, peace, loops and acenssioooon) just for someone else to get attention over a 3 minute video that took barely 5 minutes. LIKE WHAT...

Also it takes a long time to make a 3 minute video, A 30 second animation. Or a 1 minute slideshow animation thing, Ihave taken more then 4 weeks to make all of these. Not combined.
