I’m fine with 1080p 60fps as long as it *IS* 60fps and isn’t choppy or too blurry.

I think the UP TO 60fps is for legal reasons. Technically people could nitpick otherwise when its 30fps in prerendered cutscenes or drops to say 55fps for a moment in action heavy scenes.

Getting the game on the Series S. It's my main console but I did buy the PS5 recently. I didn't really like the news about the 30FPS, but I got to get over that. If I feel comfortable playing the game, then I should be fine.

I grew up in the 90s. Frames per Second mean nothing to me. This game will be great regardless.

Man I wish it was 1440p 60fps. The difference between 1080p and 1440p is huge. I’ll have to see how it actually looks before buying cause I ain’t playing 30fps

Im most surprised HDR isnt supported. Seems like a standard in 2024, and for a game that are going for a visually striking experience, not including HDR is somewhat amature.

It seems like they are locking PvE progression to always online to avoid cheaters. HOWEVER, EAC is super easy to bypass. If Helldivers 2 is any indication, we are probably gonna be able to max out progression on Day 1 with super easy memory edits. I do not think they are going to sell progression at a later date, but this always online stuff is dumb.

No pc and console PvP crossplay is super frustrating. I have a ton of friends I want to play this mode with, but now won't be able to. Introduce input based matchmaking if you want to keep it balanced, or give people the option to turn crossplay on or off

Taking bets…any shortcomings are isolated to one side and one of the versions will look and perform a lot better.

I would love to play spacemarine 1 before the sequel releases but I ain't shilling out 60 dollars for a game that released 13 years ago. I know the first game is great, but 60 dollars is ridiculous.

I hope HDR support comes one day but overall I'd rather them focus on optimization because nobody likes a game that runs bad.

Easy Anti Cheat is sadly the biggest joke of an anti cheat in the industry. Nearly every game that uses it has a massive cheating problem.

I hope they chamge it for Operations as i want the 2 npcs to not play melee. Why, why cant i pick the classes that run with me in Operations?! I will play Heavy Class, so i guess i am not going to do well as a Solo Player. Why no HDR Ray Tracinh and such on pc/steam?!

PROS is basically a cloud save system that you can use to load up saves on different platforms. It's implemented into Expeditions: a mudrunner game too so it's been tested.

Do you guys reckon that if we bought a console copy of SM2 that we have to also buy a pc copy even though there’s cross save? It be nice to just buy one copy and be able to choose to play either on console or PC base on how which performs better or if I feel just being on the couch with a bigger screen lol
