Love this movie... Just saw it the first time last week, on TMC. Watched it 3 or 4 times already... I think I'm in love with Lady Mary and Tweeny... Of course they are both in their 80s now- if still kicking.... But I can dream! ;) (about them then...lol)

A remarkable movie. Somewhat before my time (born 1967), but I have watched this gem dozens of times. Diane Cilento and Sally Ann Howes in their absolute prime. They would never make a movie like this today but that's okay as I rarely watch anything made after ~1988. Really enjoyed this, thank you.
