Honestly I prefer the battle UI we got instead of the early concepts. It’s too cluttered and busy, it would be too much on the eyes for long grinding sessions. While it looks cool in concept, it’s being too much without the need for it to be.

Really interesting to see the development. But I'm really satisfied with the final version of pretty much everything.

seeing early development stuff always makes me comfortable. By that I mean, even professionals do silly things like that mock-up of the ui with pngs to represent the enemies. Like that's the stuff I would do to see the composition of how the screen should look, and its so janky. love it.

intresting that the early battle ui which is on the thumnail of this video (or you can see it in 1:15) is looks like the battle ui in metaphore refantazio
but i think you noticed it too that the menu ui (where makoto is underwater) is also looks like the menu from metaphore refantazio

The first menu was really cool, the split pictures, the grey colors, and the digital like aesthetic is all pretty clean and very Persona 3. Part of me wanted them to explore that design more but what we got is still really great.

I somehow like 1:16 menu it doesn't mix with the background like the command word does in the real UI, but yeah is a little bit excessive

I kind of miss that last battle menu, it’s LOUD sure but far more stylish than what the final product gave us.

glad they're taking this route of just experimenting and taking great care to the ui because p5 has some of my favorite ui in any game ever it's explosive and full of personality I'd be just really happy If it just become staple in future persona games.

With Persona 3 reloaded revitalizing interest in the older characters, I really hope that we get another crossover game outside of the Q games, I mean P4 hinted at that Elisabeth left the velvet room to search for a way to save Minato. It’s been a plot thread that they have left dangling for a time. Maybe have Elisabeth attempt to recruit the phantom thieves to change the heart of Nyx
