Just installed this type of blind - I found it was a lot easier to slot in the round-hole-end first, then control end second. That way there's no need to fiddle with that springy button at all. Then to remove blind, you push it towards the springy round end, and unplug the control end first.

I have windows similar to this, I was going to install the blinds on the outer window frame. Would it be better to put it on the wall or the frame please. Your response would be greatly appreciated

It's a shade not a blind & you needed spacers when mounting above the trim because when you roll it, the material is rubbing against the trim

Looks like I'll have to replace my Kitchen window Roller Blind. It raises smoothly as always. BUT now, it's extremely hard to unroll it, even breaking the cord in the process. You'd think gravity would help, but no. I've tried lubricating all moving ( visable ) parts, with no improvement. Is it a gonner ?
