I am in a timetravel machine. Yesterday i saw a concert of The Cure in Antwerpen (Belgium) and it was When i picked up my jacket after the show this came out of the speakers. Took me back to my days when i was young. Great music. Goosebumps

I just dug out an ancient cassette tape from the early eighties where I reccorded a fragment of music from a French radio channel, but managed to receive it on my radio in the south of England. I did some research on the song by Jah Wobble thinking the title was “ What’s your name?” thinking that was the title. I always loved this song but never found it until now. Now I can hear the full version.

Just came across this on a Mixcloud show I follow and had no idea who it was until now! This used to be played as background music on a German or Belgian radio show I listened to in the mid 80s!

C'est un maxi 45T envoûtant. Le DJ de la discothèque de Peruwelz en Belgique en 83 exposait la pochette du disque contre sa vitre pour qu'on puisse savoir le morceau qui passait. Et si quelqu'un connais le titre d'un groupe début '80 ( Une pochette de disque représentant un dessin en couleur d'une femme dans sa salle de bain ) je suis preneur. Merci.

I had this album when it came out! Jah Wobble’s solo stuff is still incredible and wildly inventive! That bass! And his incredible dub sensibility. He played every instrument on the album right? This is one man I’d like to have a beer with now! That you JW, thank you analogue, thank god for this music!

Question, wasn’t this track on the album ‘The Legend….’? I’m going to hunt for this lost vinyl. This and Mick Karn’s ‘Title’
