I came here seeking repair and got a good overview. It'd be nice to see if there was a way to fix common failures. Everyone always just replaces the whole panel, but I'm working on one that is no longer available. I'd think I could pull it off, find the culprit switch and check it's continuity or connectivity or mechanics.

Is it possible to repair a menmbrane switch? I mean changing the metalic part, usually they gets soft and lose the capacity to get back, or stays in short.
