Well, I'm a brazilian guy and the way I see is that in our culture is common to be late for parties or when someone invites you for a visit at their place, I mean informal meetings. When we talk about appointments such as job interviews or more formal meetings in general, we like to be on time ( some people, like me, even like to arrive earlier than the scheduled time). But I got to emphasize: this is my perception on how we treat meetings.
