The Foodie Mini Brands Series 2 are here! Getting and opening a whole case, albeit a small one, was so satisfying! This new series comes with a lot of new minis but also a few repeats from the initial series. They also added a new type of minis, which are scented! Imagine a cheeseburger mini that smells like a cheeseburger!

Your unboxing content is on point, thank you for this! 💕✌️ $20 per ball is so insane, esp with the amt of repeats. I'll admit that the quality is high & consistent. BUT - At this cost to the consumer, at the very least IMHO, the product shouldn't feature any prize that is a typical screenprinted cardboard or plastic box "filler" type of toy that doesn't open or have an actual food replica product.

As a side note (for anyone interested in the marketing or business side of this brand) --

According to an article by Forbes (I had to use Google cached to actually read it as it's locked behind a pay wall, lols), Zuru does not get a kickback from partnering w/a brand, they actually pay a brand commissions to use the branding.

I find this to be an interesting facet of their marketing bc, even with Zuru forking out commissions to these huge brands, it seems to still be quite profitable for them. Forbes reports for 2022, "The company has nearly tripled its sales, to $1.1 billion for 2021 from $400 million...". Zuru apparently has other actual toys that it manufactures, but if i had to guess, most likely the mini brands are responsible for the recent explosive growth for Zuru.

I should've invested in Zuru stock back in 2019, for reals. Yay, hindsight 😂😭

I think this series is much better then series 1. For one thing it features brands I actually like but also it doesn’t feel like you are just opening the same 15 minis over and over. I like that they added removeable parts. I do wish they had left all of the series 1 minis out of series 2 though.

That being said the plastic is worst then ever. I see they are still glueing all of the outside plastic to the inside plastic. Also theres money in the bags so you have to look inside every bag to see if money is in it. I feel like the money should have been by itself.

Oh and I had a glitch ball in the 4 packs with 7 minis inside one ball. It contained 2 of the Ethereum coins and 2 plain pretzels and 3 other minis.

Love the pizza hut items in this series. Totally agree we need less repeats from previous series. There are also a bunch of other subway items aside from the few they've used so far. Fingers crossed for improvements in the next series...
