Just saw them last night at a crappy 'indie fest' here in Mexico City... i love this band and that's the only reason i paid like 65 bucks to mingle with sad young people with preppy haircuts and hipster moustaches. sadly, the Violators played a short, 40 mins set.. these guys are great rocknroll, for longhairs and shorthairs, and maybe old-timers like myself. think neil young, tom petty, a bit of classic dinosaur jr, etc... the randy rhoads shirt's as strong indication of these guys' mindset!

pus sí, así es! a todo mundo le toca; lo chistoso es que todos esos morros siempre están idolatrando a los weyes de mis tiempos o de tiempos anteriores, y denostándose a sí mismos.. muchos lucen como una mezcla de billy joel, burt reynolds, farrah fawcett y madness jaja. para mis ojos de cuarentón, eso es esperpéntico, pero más aún esa melancolía que se respira en sus festivales, sus discos, sus antros, su tecnología, sus usos y costumbres. ley de la entropía- no es culpa de nadie. saludos!
