As a Brit watching a Brit, I’d have liked to have seen the prices in £s as well as dollars Pete. Thanks for the review tho. I ended up replacing my 4 year old Cleveland RTX Zipcores this year with SM10s, largely based on a throwaway comment from you that Titleist were best for the ball not sliding up the face (I noticed my zipcores doing this). Been really happy with them so far (no sliding up the face so far!).

Cleveland CBX ZipCore wedges have been great for me. Not the sexiest looking wedges but they work.

Cleveland, Pings and Vokeys are the top 3 that worked for me in a fitting. Vokeys were the most consistent for me as I love the heavier head, but the Cleveland’s felt much nicer. The Pings were right up there with performance and the looks are fantastic.

3rd year of having my sm9's in a 50 and 54 and love them. Got the wilson CB irons last month and they are great looking and even better to hit. Could be tempted to get the wilson wedges as well 👀

Rocking Cleveland CBX 52 and 56 degree wedges and a Wilson 60 degree. The CBX wedges are dummy proof and I sure as hell needed the help!

MD Golf NV Drew wedges, cheap as chips from a manufacturer in Northern Ireland. Going great so far, recommend a look for people after a cheaper but good quality option

Just started playing the Opus 52 10S and the 58 10s and have to say they are a game changer. The amount of spin and control for me is something I have never experienced (granted good be due to never hacing brand new wedges before) been able to have the ball bounce once and stop dead is so much fun!

7:59 You're right, it's not sand. It's actually granulated quartz. It's the same material they use at Augusta National for their bunkers.

I play ping glide 4.0 in 48 from 50, 54 & 60 along with the hydro pearl finish. I am sold on Ping wedges and highly doubt I will ever change

I use two CBX wedges and a vokey 60 love the forgiveness on full shots with the Cleveland’s and the workability of the vokey for around the greens.

Lazrus 50, 54, 58 wedges are in my bag. They are one of the greatest value propositions in golf as far as wedges are concerned, IMO. Your video has me tempted to at least try the Wilson Staff models, however. One of my sons has the Wilson Harmonized wedges in his bag and we all like the Wilson Profile balls, which are another great value proposition for anyone who tends to find the locations on the course where golf balls can be "unfindable" (the middle of the fairway, on some of our local courses).

I have Takomo Skyforger 001s in 52, 56 and 60. Recently dropped the 56 to put a utility iron at the top end of the bag.

I’d love them to release a 58, which they’re apparently going to, but if it’s not soon then this video has really opened my eyes to the Wilsons which look absolutely stunning and superb value

Got a 1st gen CBX Zipcore in 52/12 and 2nd gen CBX Zipcore in 56/12. Really good in the wet crap I play in.

May i suggest testing Kyoei wedges and even their irons, they are the founding forge for Mizuno and the former iron head producer for Muira now doing their own, note they also provide iron and wedge blanks for custom club makers, i currently run their irons and they are some of the best feeling blades in a one length model (custom).

I have a set of Wilson Staff Model Wedges. The previous model. I love them and I’d replace them with a new set when time comes. My only issue with them (might be on other manufacturers as well) is that I’m on the tall side. So getting 1” longer isn’t a problem, but the 2° upright I have on my other clubs is a little issue. I know wedges are already more upright, so making a wedge more upright screws the bounce. So I’m a little “squatty” on my 60° especially to get the bounce right.

Self confessed Wilson fan so it's 49 and 55 Launchpad GW's for me. The looks may not be to everyone's taste but they are some of the best confidence building clubs out there for mid/ high HC's because they are so easy to hit. Had a C300 54 SW but I find the 55LP is more helpful from sand. Oh, and they are an absolute steal on the used market but look out for chipping on the backs from bag clatter.
