This is why the Durant signing made me so upset. Imagine what kind of season the Warriors would've pulled off in 2017 if they had been forced to sit with their failure, and either crumble under the weight of expectations, or rise back up again as champions like the 2014 Spurs. They were in for a major redemption arc, but Durant put an asterisk on that whole saga.

Cavs-Warriors should've been an all time rivalry, but instead it devolved into a one sided farce.
