Trikolon 1969 Cluster

Показать описание
Trikolon was founded in 1967 in Osnabrück, Germany. They are in the middle of the experimental period in music that started in the late 60s. In this period when Rock'n Roll, which was based on blues, was incomplete or inadequate, changes began, and the Progressive Rock genre took its first steps, Trikolon emerged as one of the bands that laid the foundations of Krautrock, without realizing it.
They were actually a local band and didn't get very far. Let alone taking part in the world stage, they could not even spread throughout Germany. However, even the work they did locally was of high quality and would be remembered for many years. They didn't have a chance to go into the studio and record an album. The recording taken at a concert they gave was released as Trikolon's only album. The album is quite good due to both the enthusiasm of the concert environment and the musical competence of the band members.
The album Cluster contains influences from many genres and styles, as it is a recording made during the transition period in the general musical understanding and the beginning period of the band itself. In the album, where the basis of Psychedelic Rock is clearly felt, there are Classical Music references, Jazz Rock sections, folkloric interactions, and tracks bordering on Heavy Psych or Space Rock. For this very reason, it can actually be a little difficult to locate the group. Since Krautrock is a general definition, we avoid this difficulty by choosing it, but the album can also be positioned within Space Rock, Fusion with Psychedelic sauce or Heavy Psychedelic Rock.
We have nothing to say about the diversity of the album, and we must also say that it is extremely interesting, even though it was recorded in primitive conditions. The album they released in the same year with Amon Düül and Can may not have received as much attention as the albums of the two groups mentioned above, but this is only a commercial situation. Both the band and the album are at least as good. It wouldn't be wrong to say that it is an exquisite album dating back to the early period of Krautrock.
