The month of July has been an exciting one for motorcycle enthusiasts around the country.

Harley-Davidson started the innings with the launch of the much-awaited X440 at a starting price of Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets a 440cc engine making 27bhp and 38Nm of peak torque. It impressed us with it's features and handling, but wasn't the Harley we all expected.

Next, Triumph and Bajaj launched the Speed 400 at a starting price of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets a 400c engine making 40bhp and37.5Nm of peak torque. Journalists and the entire motorcycle community was instantly enticed by its performance, handling and typical Triumph quality. However, we did point out the lack of features in such a competitive segment.

So, in this video Karan Mathur and Shivank Bhatt discuss what were their first ride impressions of each and try to decide which one comes out on top. The Harley X440 camp was headed by Karan and the Triumph Speed camp was headed by Shivank. So, which one wins? That's what you need to watch to find out!

There is no bike in the world without vibration. I don't knw why everyone says bike has vibration. At some point each bike vibrate a bit. If u want bike without vibration go for ev. I think u might find some vibration in that too

I feel like this video is biased in favour of Triumph. Every other reviewer talks about the build quality of Harley X440 which is made of all metal panels. And with a high cc engine, Harley still maintains the average bhp which is sensible. And it's 9.5 compression ratio is also highly sensible for practical use. Whereas Triumph has a 12.5 compression ratio which is going to be exactly power increased 200cc motorcycle like Yamaha and Suzuki in india. Again I say, this review is biased.

I personally feel that the Harley is lacking character. The Triumph is clearly a Triumph, while the Harley for sure is not. The quality seems better(on YT itself), so I feel it would be even better in person.

I rode both bikes..exactly my feel is the same..
Harley is feel good..
Triump is over all good..

Now people with retro feel good can choose for Harley and definitely people will know the badging..

But people with bit sport, power, nimble and fair looking bike with ease to use and fun to ride may choose Triump..

I do test drive both bike.... Both are good in their way.... Speed 400 is good look and well build👍 engine refinement is not quite well...
X440 build quality is low... Engine exhaust note and refinement are great❤️ it's an characterful bike....

Speed 400 looks Really bad, and no Appeal at all, , looks like 15 year old Pulsar re coloured.

I am 6ft and triumph is very small. Harley is good in size for me. I drove both of them

Triumph charging 32000 rupees additional and we cannot skip that Like delivery charge, basic acessories and RSA. To be frank Triumph looks better than harley in pics and videos but reality Davidson is a big bike and triump is just like a ronin size. definitely short people may like that After seeing Davidson i am happy and i have booked the base denim varient..
