Father Andrew Louth: ‘The Rediscovery of the Icon’

Father Andrew Louth gave on 7th of March a lecture entitled ‘The Rediscovery of the Icon’, in the Russian Orthodox Church in Amsterdam. During his talk Fr. Andrew told the story of how the icon was rediscovered in the Greek and Russian traditions and discussed iconographers such as Uspensky, Krug, Fotis Kontoglou, Saint Mary of Paris and sister Johanna Reitlinger.
