I love the videos, but I am not a woodworker. Maybe it's due to my own ignorance, but I question the strength of many of the joints I've seen.

I know it takes much skill and experience to create these types of joints. You are a brilliant craftsman. But like I said, is it truly a strong joint, or is it simply ornamental design?
