We just got our hands on Samsung's brand new Galaxy Note 9, but unfortunately, it doesn't really feel like a brand new device, both on the outside, and especially on the inside.

We ran some benchmark tests with the Note 9 and Apple's iPhone X to see how they compare!

Never trust someone called "appleinsider" to run a side by side comparison.

Note 9 is in every way better than iphone x
Benchmarks never matter
Samsung note 9
Has better display (1440p)
Better camera
Has headphone jack , better battery,
Fingerprint scanner,
Iris scanner, Face unlock, S pen
Notification light,
Magnetic payment method
Unlocked nfc
Now there is 512 gb variant
Micro sd expansion
Better ram so more apps can run in the background
And 100 s of other huge custumisations and features
It is a more value for money phone than iphone x considering both of them have same price.

Since Samsung makes the vast majority of the components inside the iPhone, aren't we really comparing two Samsung phones?

You didnt notice the web browser on note 9 was requesting for an update. Could have been a game changer in html5 test.

LMAO the iPhone X is a year old phone and it still destroyed the fuck out of the new Note 9. Imagine what the iPhone X Plus will do. Like it or not, iPhone wins, as usual.

guys guys guys. the geekbench benchmarks are hard to trust. for this reason, geekbench on the A11 bionic runs off of the Vulkan open library, while the Snapdragon runs off of open GL. the Vulkan library is far more efficient than Open GL. however, as of the s8, Vulkan was introduced to Samsung. but geekbench still makes it run off of Open GL. once they put some effort into their own app, we would be able to get more accurate scores. I recommend looking at side by side comparisons of the same app/game running.

I actually think performance is not just about hardware speed but also about how fast you can perform your workflow on the system.

I remember a few years ago when people would brag about how much faster their android phones were to the iPhone. Now that things are turned around, Android users pretend like phone speed doesn’t matter.

I own an iPhone, but these benchmarks are meaningless - in day-to-day use, both perform well. The Note 9 has a higher resolution, larger screen and S Pen support. And besides, this guy is incredibly biased towards Apple.

NOTE 9 people pays 1K:
- 6, 4" Super Amoled QHD+ Display
- Many ways to unlock
- Possibility of a extra sim card or a SD up to 512GB
- Headphone Jack
- Fast charger in box
- Dolby digital atmos sound
- IP68 water resistance
- Magnetic payment method
- Unlocked nfc
- S-pen with bluetooth
- 4000 mah battery
- Possibility of customization and many more things...

iPHONE fans pays MORE than 1K:
- My very expensive LIMITED smartphone is faster on a Benchmark Comparison

I mean, Are you iOS Developers or something like that you need such of limited CPU speed?

CONCLUSION for the normal people: Wise people chooses ANDROID, not matter if it's Samsung, Huawei, Google Pixel or One Plus!!!

A12 is going to be massive. Even tho Qualcomm has announced that they will release a new chip for s10 in par with a12 next year. A13 is going to crush it

Which iOS do you have on the X? I've heard the scores will go up further on iOS 12

Oops I forgot to close the 20 running apps in the background on the Note 9 b4 I ran the benchmark. Apple please keep sponsoring me I did what you told me to do. That perfectly explains why the benchmark app crashed on the Android Beast.

At the end of the day barely anyone is going to need this much power out of a phone. Real life experiences are going to be similar and the better phone is going to come down to what your preferences are and what you want in a phone.

Oh Wow Congrats this is only the 1 millionth video to show the exact same results. We get it the only way anyone who is a fan is willing to compare these phones is with these tired benchmarks.
The way I see it is Apple has a kick ass processor that goes to waste because all the phone does is allow people to use imessage and browse FB.
It is also pretty laughable that years ago all the Apple fans talked crap on The Note series but now Apple is halfway adding Samsung's Note features and Samsung' top of the line screen and Apple fans rejoice.

The fact of the matter is that you can pay $1k for a phone that can play phone games and surf the internet or you can spend it on an actual productive device. It is always better to have features that you choose not to use than it is to wish you had the features.
