I don't know how people see Billy Joel. I see him as an absolute God of music. I think he is as good as it gets, a genius of our time. And if I had the chance to talk to him I would treat him with the highest respect and reverence. I've always had trouble hearing my own voice, let alone liking it, but since having my own radio show and getting better at it, I've kind of gotten used to hearing my voice and being comfortable with it. Even a few singers have told me that my singing isn't bad either, so I guess it really isn't terrible. I find it fascinating that you perceive your voice differently to other people.

I'm not much of a concert person although I play very short gigs, I love some, I heard even Paul McCartney's concerts are 3 hours now. I'm 44 and I don't have the stamina for 3 hours while Paul's still bopping away. I think Billy Joel's concerts would be for me it sounds!
