After finally getting to test this:

Imo this is a great stage to try and farm accessories.
Didn't get lucky with Yasakani (or Tokichiro's Gourd), but saw plenty of other good divine accessories.
You get less Amrita and + gears than doing the Otakemaru stage run for in exchange more chances at Accessories.
If unlucky with accessories you also have high chances at some Soul Cores (2 Enki and 1 Ippon as Dark Realm Masters with high drop chance and Enenra) which are nice to help level your Shiftling, as well as a whooping 5+ chances to find a Kappa (aka lots of loot, I only ever saw one in Otakemaru's stage) and the chance at that Mujina (aka more loot) in the underground's chest.
Kappa spots i saw:

1. in the water just before the 2nd shrine
2. in the underground on the way to the 3rd accessory spot
3. near the Enki that's the master of the 2nd Dark Realm
4. to the side of the building with the 3rd shrine near a pool of water with an enemy hidden by a Dark Realm cloud (you can see a red spot when standing at the 3rd shrine if you have enemy sensor)
5. after jumping out of that last building on the way to spots 7 and 8, close to the two Dwellers


tl;dr: Nice change of pace from trying the Otakemaru farming route and definetly vastly suprior to farming Abduction in terms of basically everything (Amrita, divine + gear drops, Soul Core drops). Still RNG is RNG. D:

This mission actually drops better than the abduction mission. I farmed 6 yasas from this mission yesterday, with average of 20 runs for each (which is 320 loot). For abduction, it was always 500+ runs for me to get 1 yasa (1000+ loot). Thank you for the video 😆

Thank you! I finally got my Yasakani in the 9th attempt. In contrast I was farming at the popular spot in the Abduction mission without success for too many hours.

Took me 3 tries. Used ebisus grace/kodama bowl with Itukari/kodama core. Tried it on Dream of Wise for Divine and ethereal drop rates.

Interesting, I never knew this mechanic existed - I've never, on any level, opened a chest and not auto-take everything!

While I'm not looking forward to doing this grind - it's really great to know that there's a pretty reliable method when I want to get a better Yasakani.

I just did it and it worked! I'm on version 1.12 and it took about 8 or 9 tries. Dream of the Strong mode, no cups used, Luck is only 41. I did use a Luck Talisman right before clearing the drops, so maybe that contributed. It may seem frustratingly tedious at times, but it's totally worth the grind! Good luck to anyone reading this.

I for sure didn't know this was possible i mean i knew how to spot acc drop locations in different missions but i never bothered abusing them got my first ym from speedrunning ng+ then temper/sudama reroll i got what i need on i then i remember getting 04 ym in eternal rivals on the same run then i got two yatam from doing scrolls

While Abudction is great and Fast (Bomb or nuke 3 Yokai, pick up, run back reset at shrine and try again), if you are willing to spend Cups or just keep doing things over and over again easily which is great if you just want to do/watch other stuff on the side

This path is limited based on if the Twilight Mission is up, and requires a bit more focus (Not much you can run pass every enemy with Sneaking Jutsu and such just need to make sure you go to the right spots and don't hit any enemies)
But it's great for saving Cup, and once you get the entire mission and what you need to pick up memorized you can probably get it done with Tiger running in about 2 minutes if you check every accessory spot and open each chest and shortcut and then reset and shrine for a 2nd chance.
Comes down to preference no real best way to farm it just preferred methods.

Since at the end of the day it's going to be all up to RNG and how long you are willing to grind. This method is actually how I got my first one and probably be my preference of farming it when I need Eternal Version and want to save Cups or just have time to grind

Got it! Even better, I saw this video last night as I was grinding abduction for about an hour and a half. I put yasakani farming videos on autoplay and noticed this video was different.

Between restarting missions, my Twilight Mission changed to the level used in this video, so I figured I would try it out. I got one on my first try! I used no cups, my gear is not rolled out with luck, and I have no ninjutsu tools ready. I think I found it at the fifth or sixth accessory spot.
