Plug in a swcond controler to get a swcond origin character so that you can still use tav but also experience origin storylines! You can log out on the nautiloid & boot back up solo & voila!

Just completed my honor mode run last night. Had a major scare when PC crashed starting the final scenario leaving the morphic pool and corrupted the save file. Luckily Larian had a trick to try to recover it and worked.

Already completed honor mode so waiting for next update to do a custom with honor settings, plan on doing an evil shadowheart origin going full into shar worship as a war cleric/fighter.

Probably my favorite build is fighter sorcerer. High armor class and the ability cast spells with a bonus action. I’m untouchable in combat.

So I am completely new to Baldurs gate and D&D in general. I bought the game on Steam and for PS5. I went into my first playthrough deciding ahead of time that it would be a just for fun experiential trial run to get used to how classes, combat, leveling and everything worked. Almost 65 hours later I’m still on that same run having a freaking blast! I think going into it deciding beforehand that I wasn’t going to try and be completionist, a perfectionist, i was going to to try and absorb and enjoy the story without trying to direct it ahead of time, I wasn’t going to min-max my way through it and go for perfect efficiency has made it soooo much more fun. I hope I can continue this approach with games because sometimes they become a chore or a challenge because I fell compelled to do everything and find everything etc. But knowing ahead of time that I wasn’t going to be able to see everything and that I was just trying to better understand the mechanics and story for my next playthroughs has made me truly enjoy it. I had no idea what any of the classes were like or abilities or anything and but just in game text boxes I went for storm sorcerer and it’s just been so much freaking fun lol I just pick my favorite party members based on their personality and not abilities or synergy. I think just doing one “throw away” run like that is such a great way to experience the game in a role playing aspect and let the game take you where it will. Minor reloads lol

Me and a friend have been playing baldurs gate for a bit now. We are on the final encounter for act 2 and we play as a barbarian and a open hand monk(me) I just find throwing straights hands with literal demi gods or gods just hilarious, and I've accidentally romanced gale and I have accepted this and now my character is gay, the laugh we both had was something to say the least. We planning to play it again after we beat the game, this thing is bloody amazing and fun.

I don’t know how hard this game is for other people but for me it’s stupidly hard I have extremely bad luck like having to reroll 3 times on average for a 55% chance hell the other day I missed 9/11 55% back to back in the same fight without karmic dice took 5 attempts for a hit then another 6 for a second hit every enemy also seems to attack 8 times in some fights and always hit and get good attack rolls straight up had my 18ac Paladin get taken out by the fake paladins in act 1 in 2 hits before any of my characters could attack I also missed 2 back to back 80% chances and get hit over 50% of the time with 20+ ac in act 1 and miss 55% chances over 70% of the time I actually had to reroll for a 10 3 times with advantage before I don’t know why but when it comes to video games my luck is absolutely garbage like legendary amount of garbage
