Depends how much prep time is given to Walt. If they both were given one day to come up with something before executing then Walt more likely to have more effective ways. But if it’s start -go then Dex wins.

As someone who likes both of these series a lot Walt wins if he can catch onto Dexter before it’s too late. Walt is so smart and knew that Gus wanted to replace him with Jesse/Gale. Some people say “Gus saved him from the Salamanca twins” but Walt knew Gus needed him and so did Gus. Gus wanted and probably could’ve killed Walt so many times but he needed Walt and he knew that. Quite a few people knew who Dexter was but the only person who knew Walt was was his own wife (other than the people he worked with) I think it would be close but Walt wins

I think Dexter takes the Dub on one simple fact that no one is seeming to talk about. Dexter would find out that Walter IS Heisenberg, he has Police and Forensic knowledge. Not only that he doesn’t just “Stalk”- he researches. Their past, what they do, etc- and Walter White Is a School teacher- does anyone remember season 4 of Dexter? come on 💀

It depends on which season of Breaking Bad you are talking about. If you are talking about early seasons Dexter *DEFINITELY* Wins no diff.
Mid season I would say Walter as he has Gus and Mike behind him.
Late season would be Dexter extreme high diff. His biggest problem would be to neutralize Mike.

The main issue is if Dexter would. Anytime that he’s not working with the cartel he’s free pickings but Dexter most likely would play it safe and assume that Walt would still have resources and connections. If Dex did it while Walt was in hiding is way more likely but then Walt is in alaska

As much as I like Dexter, Walter takes this. Walter has way to many resources at his disposal. Also throughout the series, Dexter is easily manipulated via his disconnect with normal people, which is a field Walter thrives in. Walt takes it easy.

but season 4-5 walter would absolutely run circles around dexter

dexter would first have to find out that walter white IS heisenberg and walter would have to find out dexter is the bay harbor butcher, and i think that walter is the more intelligent of the two
and then there’s the problem of all of Walter’s ties
if we take season 4 walter then he’s working with gus and would have protection from the cartel, along with protection from the DEA
walter is also overall just smarter than dexter, whether it be from manipulating those around him or managing to create a remote controlled machine gun or outsmarting gustavo fring, one of the most cunning people in the entire show
i really don’t see a way that dexter can take walter white- walter isn’t a serial killer that just needs to be cornered and found, dexter would have to go through so many people first if he wants to get to the cartel’s favorite cook
