My late husband loved lobster night. I absolutely despise lobster. So he always got 2 mine and his. Our table mates were envious. But I got his dessert so it worked for us. Great report.

I can understand the price charge for the lobster, however, reducing the MDR menu will be terrible because they already don't have great options and it's been the same for years.

I'm less concerned with the lobster surcharge and more with only 4 choices per category. That's really small for a dinner menu amd a big ding to Royal in my opinion. Dining is probably the second biggest factor in choosing a cruise after the itinerary.

As long as you let your server know when you order that you want additional lobsters, it doesnt affect the time you are in the dining room. This is totally about food costs in my opinion!

Just returned from a cruise on Harmony after a three year break from cruising. We felt the MDR dinners were truly lack luster compared to the last times on Royal, and average at best. So disappointing that we decided to give the buffet a try after the third day. It was splendid. We had the remainder of our dinners there. I have to say the Windjammer saved them .

I’m usually in and out of the MDR in 60-90 minutes because everyone in my travel party looks at the menu prior to dinner and already knows what they are ordering. I take it one step further and make my MDR dinner selection for the entire sailing before I even get on the ship. May be a bit too much, but it works for me 😂

Maybe they should serve a lobster that are a reasonable size. The ones that we were served on our last cruise were more like crayfish size.

My absolute best cruise was a Mediterranean cruise out of Venice in 2019 on Norwegian. 7 days, 6 ports and it was so amazing! Big deal for this country girl from North Carolina! ❤❤

My most exotic or out-of-the-way cruise destination is a tie: the Falkland Islands and Myanmar (Burma). Sailing to the Falklands involves a couple of days crossing the challenging South Atlantic (usually from Argentina or Uruguay), and getting to Yangon involves sailing up the rather shallow Rangoon River.

I love that the share price is going back up! Did you know you can get onboard credit by being a shareholder? If you own at least 100 shares of NCL, you can get $100 for a 7-14 day cruise and $250 for 15 days and over. Love it!!! Just need to take the time and fill out the form. I believe RCL has this as well.

I visited Japan--Sunshine City in Tokyo, more specifically--several years ago, but not by cruising there. It's a really amazing and *clean* place. Seriously, there was no litter anywhere! The people were delightful and friendly, and we had a great time exploring the rich history and culture.

Tony! Thanks for all you do. I enjoy your views. I have to tell you my wife and I just got back from sailing on Harmony and to be honest we have decided to eat else where, other than the MDR, on our next cruise. The MDR on our cruise was ok but nothing special. The service was great and to be honest the first two night of My Time Dining was awful. Lines and confusion reigned. So we decided then and there that next time it will be Windjammer and maybe a specialty for us. We are there to relax not to wait in line for a limited menu and so-so food. Thanks again!
