When I was a small kid, my parents would always play this song in the car, and I thought it was cool. Fast forward to MS and HS, I ran away from God because I wanted to sin more, and didn’t care about the consequences. When I was a senior in HS, I told myself that I would never get spiritual. Because I didn’t want to surrender myself to my creator. However that all changed 2/14/21. When I finally repented and the Lord filled me with his Holy Spirit.

I cry every time I hear this song. Because when I do, I’m reminded of my life leading up to my surrender. I weekend for three days, conflicted on what to do. But ultimately after reading Romans chapter 12 on Valentines, of that year, I gave my life to Christ. And now it is almost three years of being a disciple of Christ. And let me tell you, it’s had so many ups and downs. But I’d never choose to give it up for a second. Thank God he’s freed me from all my idolatry, revenge, sexual, emotional, mental, and personal bondage that was sending me to the grave. I will always remember and believe in you Jesus.
