Volkswagen Passat Low (Dipped) Light Bulb Change

How to replace the low beam head light bulb a Volkswagen Passat. This is mark generation B5.5 facelift (2001-2005). How do you replace the light bulb. VW.

Wife told me earlier, i gotta remove the front bumper to replace low beam bulb .😂

Tnx. I succesfully changed lights for the first time.
The only difference is that air intake for me had 2 screws on the front side and that cover you took before air intake had 2 screws with covers too.

Note that the air intake ducting is usually secured by three screws, not as shown here ( although not really a problem )

You fitted the bulb on the easy side Now show how you fit the bulb the other side, it’s impossible.

PS Take care not to drop anything down the open air intake duct - probably best to lay a rag over it while you're working on the bulb

I have watched several videos before yours for bulb replacement. I have a 2002 VW Passat. Most of them involve taking the whole front bumper off - much more involved. Your method seems so simple compared to theirs. Am I missing something? Thanks!

My low beam dip light is still on even after I changed it
