The Not So Perfect Man Episode 2

Episode 2
Normal POV
Demi walked into work with a cup of her coffee.
“Morning Ashley.” Demi said to the hostess.
“Morning Demi.” Demi smiled before heading into the kitchen she saw the other cooks starting some of the preparation.
“Morning everyone!” Demi said as she headed towards the back to put her stuff away as she was walking off they said morning back. Demi put on her chef’s jacket. I went back to the kitchen to help with the prep before the restaurant opened for lunch time.

“What are you working on?” Ashley asked as Demi enjoyed a salad during her break.
“You’re going to think it’s stupid.” Ashley shook her head as she sat in front of her.
“No I won’t.”
“All right well I am writing out a list of 10 things I want in the perfect guy.”
“Ok.”
“That’s it, no laughing or anything.”
“No because if I was a guy maybe I would but I am not, but can I ask why?”
“It’s just lately I’ve been going out with these guys and the dates are just awful so I thought maybe if I make a list in the things I want and at least if I find a guy who’s close to the list I’ll actually have a second date or at least want to invite the guy in.” Ashley nodded her head. “Does that sound completely insane?”
“Not at all. You want to have an idea of what you want in a guy and there’s nothing wrong with that. You shouldn’t settle if he’s not what you’re looking for or you don’t have any attraction towards then why even waste your time.”
“Thanks Ashley I was going to write this last night but I thought it was stupid.”
“It’s not stupid.”
“Thank you.”
“I just came in here to get a quick bite I got to get back out there, good luck with the list.”
“Thanks.” Demi took a bite of her salad before looking at the blank journal page before starting to write.

Demi continued to look at the journal before taking another bite of her salad. She placed the pen into the journal and closed it and quickly finished up her salad before going back to work.

Demi placed the pen down when she heard a knock at her door she got up and opened it to see Spencer.
“Hi Spencer.” Demi let her in. “Do you want anything?”
“No I am good. So how are you?”
“I am good.” Spencer nodded as she took a seat on the couch and pet Batman before looking at the journal.
“What are you working on?”
“I am tired of going on bad date after the other so I decided to make a list of 10 things I want in a guy and if I don’t meet a guy that doesn’t even come to close then bye bye.”
“All because of one bad date.” Demi shook her head.
“It’s not just one lately any date I go on they all are just awful it’s like all the good guys are gone and just the crappy ones are left to choose one. I haven’t met one guy who I’ve wanted to go on a second date, or hell even invite in.”
“How long?” Spencer asked.
“6 months.” Demi sighed.
“Damn that long.” Demi nodded. Spencer looked over the list. “What you don’t want nice, or makes you laugh or anything like that?”
“That’s all a given Spence I want a unique list that’s only special to me.” Spencer nodded.
“You need one more.”
“Yeah I can’t really think of another quality.”
“Not really.” Spencer continued to scratch Batman. “You love those classic movies and I know you would love a guy who would watch them with you.” Demi smiled.
“And this is why I keep you around.”

10. Loves the classics
“And there’s my list.” Demi said as she looked it over.
“Great now let’s go get something to eat cause I am hungry.” Demi giggled as she closed her journal before grabbing her jacket and purse.

Honestly making a list is a bad idea because you're only going to be looking for those certain things in a guy and then you may end up missing out on a really amazing man
