On my patreon page, I began to explain the processes and secrets of my work. Topics already covered:
1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.
10. In what liquid do I develop the pattern on the blade.

Ah yes. Way back in 2001 my art teacher introduced us to calligraphy. She let us pick the pen and ink we wanted to learn with. The pens were all stored in cups with the nibs facing up so they don't rust after cleaning (they were never clean due to it being high school). I set my wrist on top of a set of nibs to go through the cup of pens next to it. When I lifted my hand an extra fine pen nub had impaled my wrist. It didn't hurt so I pulled it out. Later while I was washing my hand I noticed a black dot on my wrist. It wouldn't wash off. I still have the black dot to this day though it's quite faded at this point. And that's how I got my first tattoo.

I didn’t expect the rosette layout to translate into a pattern that looked like actual roses! That’s freaking beautiful!!

The pattern in the steel even looks like it was drawn with a fine point calligraphy nib! Your patterns never fail to amaze me! You are a true artisan of the craft!

When a video drops from you, I'm guaranteed to know two things: 1. I'm going to see a flawless work of art. 2. I know that you're safe during this horrible time. Best wishes from the USA!

The fact that he laid the nibs out in like a rose petal pattern and you can literally see flowers in the final product absolutely blows my freaking mind. This dude is a genius...

That pattern is gorgeous. I love that it turned out looking like someone took a pen and sketched some flower patterns on the blade, it really fits the theme of using calligraphy nibs. Spectacular.

That is one of the most beautiful patterns I've seen in years of watching bladesmithing videos. It reminds me of a field of flowers blowing in the wind. You create beautiful art.

I am glad you are still safe in the chaos surrounding you. It has gone on too long, but may it soon be over so that your country and people can begin healing.

First, I am so very glad you are safe and able to keep making videos and I pray that continues. Second this is seriously the most beautiful Damascus I have ever seen. It almost looks like someone was writing on the steel rather than a part of it. Phenomenal work sir!

Anybody else notice how the one block looked like it had a face on it before he started squishing it down with the press?

I could never foresee what pattern it would have. With so many layers it would be a formidable knife too!

I really love how you have a proven process and you don’t deviate from it. I’ve watched so many videos of yours I pretty much know what you plan to do next by how you work the material. It’s amazing work and I respect that you produce such highly skilled work while keeping the quality at absolutely top notch. Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see the next Damascus pattern that you create. Stay safe in these trying times over there. We are praying for you all in that area.
