iPad (Early 2017) - Unboxing and First Look

The new iPad was released today! I unbox, setup, take a first look and run a benchmark on the Early 2017 iPad.

i can't understand people who are complaining about this ipad.for$329 what the hell are you complaining about?apples for the 1st time is making something budget friendly, who really use cameras on tablet?that leminated display is not big deal considering the price

Personally I prefer the iPad 2017 for a couple of reasons. Firstly and this one is purely cosmetic. It doesn't have those scratch prone chamfered edges but new Matt edges which I prefer. Thickness is neither here nor there to me as it's only a fraction thicker. Weight is again only slightly more so no big deal. iPad Air 2 may have a slightly better screen but a base 32gb storage, lowest ever starting price and faster processor give the iPad 2017 the win to me. Also I like to own a product that is current and not discontinued which iPad 2017 is and will hopefully offer longer life as it should be supported by Apple longest.

I just got this 32gb iPad but in space gray yesterday and I love it already. I have to say a base of 32gb and $329, it's definitely a win for me.

My main complain is they should have upgraded the cameras... at least use the iPhone 6s cameras. But i know it's to cut cost.

im with Air2 and ill stick with it for another year...or two - depends what i need later or when Apple will slow down the AIr2 with latest iOS :P

Could you please do a GPU benchmark like 3DMark on both Air 2 and the new one, because Geekbench is a CPU benchmark. Plus some web benchmarks in Safari would be nice.
