My cats are not fooled. If it's not moving more than a few inches in any direction, they refuse to play with it.

The floppy fish that the cat activates is one of the few toys my cat will consistently play with. He lays on it or swats it and it starts flopping.

And then there are our cats, who ignore all the toys and chose to play with a little piece of paper instead. 😂

These kinds of toys are a life saver. I have a very high energy cat, and she turns destructive if she isn't played with enough. But she also easily gets bored. At least these battery operated toys keep her attention for more than a minute.

I spent over $70 on toys for our new kitten. But her fav toy is a piece of foam she stole from my shoe. Also spent $60 on beds and she sleeps on my chest/neck.... She's a little weirdo.. glad she fits in 😅

My cat loves to see flies and bugs. They entertain her more than a cat toy would.

I’ve tried many of those types of toys and my cats are like “yeah we don’t think so”.

They’re much happier with a kitty fishing pole or a paper bag (preferably from Needless Markup), or good ole ‘monster-under-the covers’ or, best of all, STRING.

They’re simple cats with simple needs.

I love when cats have more toys then none cause like you said Jackson, they need that stimulation and also the parents and kids to play with them too and to not expect the cat to entertain itself too. I bought a cat toy donut, it has a ball inside and a mouse on top that moves. They broke it the first day, disassembled the donut, took out the ball, the mouse face is missing and sometimes the rest of the mouse reappears inside a shoe 😂

My cat Dora just retrieves a clay litter pellet out of the litter box. Then she carries it in her mouth, bats it around, and talks to it. I wish I could get a photo of her holding it in her mouth. Cutest/silliest/most disgusting sight ever!

My kitten is scared of most activated toys :C Best toy - a fly comes in through the window.

My guys are super smart...those toys get rapidly disassembled, and examined for future reference...funny but gets expensive😂

After spending 20 bucks on a motorized mouse I gave up! The cat looked at it a few minutes and that was that! Ignored it from then on.

Yeah, my cat doesn't play with these at all. Just sits there and stares at it, then ignores it completely.
