I am new to trading and am only paper trading in TOS to understand and learn the trade. Watching a lot of traders on YouTube, I keep hearing them say “It took me x number of months/years to become profitable”. Does this happen to EVERYONE, or are there day traders that actually become profitable from day 1 without looking back? I am tracking my trades via spreadsheet with notes and am only taking one trade a day and using all rules including waiting on the 2 day settlement period before using money traded. I started with $100 and after 6 weeks am at $170 and have 3.5% average daily return. I plan on paper trading a few more months before jumping in with a real $100 but I was hoping for clarification on the time for profitability question. Thanks!

I m newbie to moomoo trading platform and watch movement for dwac on Thurs and was moving up like insane till friday with phun also the same movement pattern...I have not made any buy because I am new and still learn what to buy and how to spot and then with low investment of $1000, Ross, is there any new around of stocks, hopefully low price one less than US10 and I can made daily consistent of buy and sell profit US 300 to 500 daily, unless exceptionally like the above 2 stocks dwac n phun. Ross, using moomoo can we buy and sell within same day and profit from it?? 🤔 🤔 I am new to trading.. Hopefully to be 30% skills full as you really!!
