I love your ideas. To be even more frugal, I have skipped the canned biscuits. I use a basic biscuit recipe, but I use oil instead of shortening. It mixes in easier. Then, add the liquid. It only takes a couple of minutes. I use a cooky scoop if I form biscuits.

With stuffing/dressing - I like to put craisins and pecans in it when I make the dressing. Those or chopped apples and onions are good too. If you make it thick enough, it slices perfectly to put in turkey sandwiches.

Have you tried peanut butter fudge, with a tub of vanilla frosting and 3/4 of a jar of peanut butter?? So easy! Right up your alley. And really delicious!

Tara your hair looks SO cute! Love the curls in back and length of your bangs! I'm gonna share a small Thanksgiving 'turkey side' my mother-in-law added years ago before she passed that she got from a high end catering company at a fancy hotel. The chef told her this dip or side turkey topping was simply whole cranberry relish with a tablespoon or two (to taste) of horseradish mixed in, and they served it aside ham or turkey respectively. I do not like horseradish on its own, can't even take the smell, but it adds just the right kick to the cranberries! 😉💕

all of these are delicious! I love all the pot pies and thanksgiving pockets. the potatoes are used in dessert in other countries like Ube (also known as Taro or purple root) and Yams/Sweet Potatoes and Potatoes ( like KartoffelPuffer or the Jewish version Latkes with applesauce on top).
