It should've been me on that cross, but by the Grace and Mercy of Jesus I did not need to be put on that cross. But, some days I still think it should've been me on that cross. It baffles me that Jesus would die for me, us, what do we have to offer him. We don't have anything to offer, and yet he died on that cross. Jesus is truly an awesome God.

I LOVE this song. We as Christians often forget that Jesus died for us and that without that sacrifice we wouldn't be here now. This song helps me remember not to take for granted that we should have been on that cross but instead we weren't. Like if you want to instead of ignoring that sacrifice to take pride in it and let it change you for the kingdom of God.
