Great to see another humble video from yourself nicely put together.

This is never going to touch the quality of a Polaris but for £150 that’s quite amazing, considering it has a legitimate Japanese movement and a nicely
Integrated rubber strap. I wish there wasn’t a Day date function it kinda spoils the dial

Plus like you I can’t get over ‘berny’ it sounds like Fred flintstones pal

I'm with you on the brand name, but glad I've broken through that barrier because they make some nice budget watches! I'd still one to see them switch to their logo only on the dial, though. I think they have one piece like that. I've got this watch in green and agree with many of your observations. Thanks for sharing...love this color!

Just stumbled upon your channel due to the Citizen Promaster vs Seiko 62mas comparison. I subscribed because in that video you put both watches on the timegrapher. Would be very nice if you did that to all watches. That video was also exemplary having its various sections marked out. This watch looks really nice and impressive with the surface treatment. That name though, makes it very difficult to wear. Sounds like a character in a sit-com, or a dog.

Great vid. I know the name puts poeple off and you said that you wish the name reflected somthing watch related but it actually does. The founder of Berney went to Switzerland he fell in love with swiss watch making culture and decided to name his company off the Capitol of Switzerland, Bern. Now I don't know where the y came from at the end but this info was on thier website so I think now it's cool the Berny name is a respectful nod the the swiss watch making industry

Thanks for the review; it helped me to make the decision to order one for myself. It's on my wrist now and I have to say I am surprised at the overall finish, look and feel of the watch. It's very comfortable, looks more expensive than it is and so on. For me the main downside is the date window or to be precise the "day window". This is really unnecessary and not true to the "original" and since the print is quite small and not even very precise, it would have been much better to leave it off.
And also allow me a thought on the brand name BERNY. As a Swiss citizen I feel flattered by the association to our capitel Bern first, but after a second thought still wished that they could have found another name, since Berny is also just simply a man's name and as such not really appropriate for a watch brand -- or what would you think about a watch that had JOHN printed on the dial?
Anyhow, for a daily rocker the watch is more than pleasing.

I think the name does relate to horology being the watch centre Bern in Switzerland. I'd personally prefer just the logo

Dude, you've got to get the watch a little further from the camera sometimes... All your shots are the same distance away just different angles. It's hard to see what the watch is like on someone from so close.

I bought this model on Berny's website, I do not recommend buying these watches. the guarantee that the buyer offers, if there is a problem, does not comply with it.
