We sell GBPUSD because the USD is the quote currency and therefore in order tobuy the quote currency, we should sell the base currency GBP

Nice one mentor. Clear information always. Why we buy USD/JPY is because USD in this case is the base currency while JPY IS the quote currency verse vise in the cause of GBP/USD

Nice content boss, . Fundamentals is my thing, a lot of people don't actually know how to trade fundamentals, fundamentals give you a bias then your technical entries should be in the fundamental direction. On the other hand fundamentals is beyond trading the news.

When USD is on a buy, it means that the value of the US dollar is expected to increase relative to other currencies. In this case, it would be beneficial to buy USDJPY because the US dollar's value is predicted to rise against the Japanese yen.

Additionally, selling GBPUSD would also be advised in this situation because the US dollar's strength would mean that the value of the British pound is expected to decrease relative to the US dollar. This would result in a profitable trade by selling the British pound and buying the US dollar.

This also applies to other USD pairs, when USD is bullish we should be long on pairs with USD as the base currency and shorting pairs with USD as the quote currency.

I followed your tip of following and trading only one pair. And in one month, the results are tremendous, thank you Jeff

The reason we should sell USD when it's the quote currency i.e. GBP/USD is because the news Favours USDT instead of GBP. and also, the GBP is the base currency.

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly😊
