I rode in a 2011 LS600hL Executive this past weekend. It had 288, 000 miles and had its original hybrid battery. I wouldn't worry about hybrid longevity.

Modern Chevy Tahoes, Suburbans, and Yukons are often used as fleet or government vehicles, they typically repair them rather than get rid of them. Hence why they are on this list.

My last Honda car was a 2000 Accord coupe with the 4 cylinder 5 speed manual and when I sold it, it had 300, 000 miles on the original engine and transmission.

Great post today. I picked up a new Camry hybrid in the hopes it will carry us into and through retirement. If we can get close to 200.000 miles 15-20 years out of it. I will be more than happy.

As of now I have a 2008 Toyota RAV4 V6 AWD (Base model) with 198, 000 miles. That's our family road trip vehicle we use to go to places like Canada, Florida, mid-west, etc. I have a 2015 Mazda3 hatchback with 2.5L 4-cylinder with 6-speed manual transmission currently at 185, 300 miles as my daily driver/commuter. My wife drives a 2015 Honda Fit with about 148, 000 miles and that's her beater car. All 3 are going strong and barring any accidents I have no doubt any and all 3 will crack the 250K mark.

I visited about 6 junk yards earlier this fall looking for a pickup box for an old Ford Ranger that my kid and I are fixing up. I couldn't help to notice that most of the vehicles in those piles ready to be crushed were Hyundais.

170k miles on my Honda element. I forget everyday that it’s 15 years old.

I drive my grandparents 2010 Prius with 243, 000 miles! Hopefully it can last a few more years and avoid the “death rattle” that is a known problem with this generation 🤞

I can’t get a new car cuz my 2006 Avalon never breaks down and never has issues. I’m finally at the point where I have the luxury of replacing it, but it seems like such a waste of money.

My Toyota Tundra 2017 has been great through 62k miles. Plan to keep til the end.

Nissans have good engines. Looks like they are beginning to work out their transmission woes as well and I see them improving.
No surprise that all Nissans with regular auto transmission make the list. Even the altima makes the list which could be an indication that they are beginning to get things right.

I've got over 260, 000 miles on my 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD.

Even if you gave me a Nissan or Chevy I wouldn’t take it. So many of my friends hate their vehicles. Always in the shop, always letting them down. And now GM is doing that greedy subscription model bullshit. An $80, 000 Tahoe where your Map, SuperCruise, etc. are tied to a monthly $55 OnStar subscription is ridiculous. For that price — EIGHTY GRAND! — the features should be permanent.

Kirk, If Toyota will send me a new Land Cruiser 250 Series (Prado) with a legendary 2.7 liter 2TR-FE engine, I guarantee it will get it to 250, 000 miles . 🤩🤩

This is also very dependent on how well the owner or owners have maintained the vehicle.
