Nearly 4 Years Ago, I started crafting the Lore of FNAF AR Special Delivery in a way noone else would, & now we're back again for the Final Month of Special Delivery with a Series of Shorts Honoring the Game.

Its gold because you can only equip it to Plushtrap’s suit. Gold means exclusive

The only problem i see with this is that animatronics in AR are canonically mass-produced, though maybe the original found his way into the deployment rotation and the ones we see in-game are “clones”?
Also, the reason the CPU is gold is most probably because Plushtrap’s CPU is exclusive to him, and can not be put into any other animatronic.

Technically there isn't only one Plushtrap, since according to fnaf 4 and the frights, Plushtrap was an actual in-universe toy

Well, I thought that the CPU was golden because it seemed to withstand more electricity, that is, we only use a shocker for everyone, but for Plushtrap we have to charge entire Teslas to defeat him.

Only problem is canonically there is multiple of each fnaf ar animatronic so they can be many places at the same time, we especially know this is the case for the original fnaf 1 crew as one of the fnaf ar messages after you get your first endo has them say they noticed you took "one of our endos" and if they have multiple 01 endos they can have multiple classics just by changing costume so presumably same applies to plushtrao and the others, at most they might if used the original afton made plushtrap as a template to base the blueprints off of for their mass produced copies possibly explaining the cpu being a different color as they simply used the same methods as afton, doesn't explain why the originals don't have it though unless they made their cpu's from scratch

Now I’m thinking the whole lore about FNAF AR is that Fazbear LLC used the Scooper to dig out what was remained as an amalgamation and had to refurbish almost all of the animatronics to be just like their original designs. So this includes OGs, Toys, Funtimes, and Plushtrap as well. I might say that the Rockstars could’ve been used as the Nightmares’ suits for like a Fallfest event like Curse of Dreadbear for example.

With AR Springtrap, I could see this as Glitchtrap controlling Model 2 Mimic with an illusion disc to pretend he’s Springtrap.

I kinda wish FNAF AR was brought back for more lore

I would call this the beta for the book version of Plushtrap the Plushtrap Chaser in the story there is a defective plush that works the exact same as the one from FNAF 4 it’s appearance is that of any normal plush except for the eye and teeth which are human I would call this Plushtrap Plushtrap beta since the sticker does not look like the others this being he beta design makes some sense if you look more into the story of how the Plushtrap chasers work I haven’t read the story in a while but I do remember how the plush world and how it was stopped let’s just say “It Liked Trains”

Hm, I always thought it was because Plushtrap had a fully augmented battle and you can only equip the CPU on Plushtrap because of this. But that would be a cool in universe explanation! 🤔

according to it's name, plushtrap is a plush version of springtrap
springtrap plushes don't exist no matter who sells them or how much of a cash grab they are, it's only plushtraps
