Multi purpose pacemakers are what we need - something that can combat afib as well is what is needed - heart needs change over time.

My friend recently had this implanted. We are praying for it to work. They interrogated it 4 times now. No luck 😪 😢 waiting to hear from doctors on what's next.

Can this be used to synchronize the heart in incomplete RBBB?

Are these extracted in the same way they're implanted? Seems like extracting one of these could be challenging!?
I just had a Boston scientific pacemaker implanted, performed last Monday 5/27/19... This video is a year old already I wish the doctors here knew about this newer tech....

Hello, I'm 38 years old and I'm from Portugal. I have put a tardicinal pacemaker at age 27 years old because I have brachycardia. my doctor talked about removing the pacemarker and the catheter because I do many rejections. the doctor said to put the micra pacemarker. my question is: I can only have 3 micra pacemaker on my heart in my entire life, and then??

Tank you!

If the device is so tiny but yet can deliver an electric output for 10 years, then it begs the question, what kind of battery techonogy is being used, I mean this is beyond amazing.. The most advanced battery chemistery to date is lithium polymer or ion. But looking at the size of this micro pacemaker you'd imagine that at least half of its size are the electronics, so the battery must be watch size, but not even a watch would give you 10 years performance.🤔 very interesting

Are these available in all states or just offered at Loyola, I recently had a Boston Scientific PM implant, I'm very unhappy and its creating mental anguish and having a negative impact on my daily thoughts. I wasn't informed of these units and would like more information. TY
