Here is a video of Australia's deadliest snake, the eastern brown snake. The eastern brown snake, otherwise known as just a brown snake is rated the third most deadliest snake in Australia based on venom toxicity, however it's aggressive nature and flighty behaviour combined with it's widespread distribution makes it Australia's deadliest snake, based on the amount of human fatalities it has caused over the years.

The 3 most dangerously venomous snakes in the world:
1:Inland Tiapan.
2:Eastern Brown Snake
3:Coastal Tiapan.
The eastern brown has killed more people than both tiapans put together.

I've had far more issues with Coastal Tiapans than Brown Snakes. Encountered many a Taipan who didn't care for escape but stood their ground and got agro(right in the middle of the Bush track).
The death toll difference is mostly due to were they are willing to search for food. When Sugar cane was harvested by hand Tiapans were the biggest killer they even got the name Killer of the Cane Feilds. My great grandfather said he held 3 friends until death from Taipan bites. Said it's was terrifying how fast death would come after being bitten, considering the heart was racing from the hard physical work pumping the venom around the body faster then normal. As a young kid in the 80s they were horror stories from the past that make me glad anti Venom exists.

The best part of this video is when you finished filming and left it alone in peace. That poor snake wasn't aggressive at all- it was just trying to get away from you!

A 24 yo man has died *less than an hour* after being bitten on the finger by a brown snake while trying to protect his pet dog in north western New South Wales Jan 2018

I noticed that he only started kicking off when you mentioned that he was only responsible for 60% of Aussie deaths, looks like he wants a higher death count 🐍😄❤

Had one visit my van last week, glad I spotted it before my German shepherd did, she has caught 2 red belly blacks and a eastern brown before, but she is getting to old and slow, I started walking towards it, it took off, didn't want to know about me, had a good look around, havent seen it since, just pay them respect,

I don't live in Australia, but the Inland and the Coastal Taipans are very different in venom toxicity...I've seen that SEVERAL PLACES, and truly, the snakes aren't even related!!

This snake is one of the nice thinks in the beautiful Australian nature.
With out the unique nature and all this wonderful animals, Australia will be so uninteresting, like many deserts in the world.
Dreamworld, Sea World, and other entertaining shit, humans have enough around the world and mostly much cheaper in entry prices.
Only the Nature makes Australia unique and this snakes are a part of it.

I always thought I’d like to go to Australia, but I think I am good to never go there, given the amount of Australians in the comments discussing their poisonous snake encounters as children.

I wont argue your message, but seriously how many people have they killed in the last 12 months & compared to what ? Some stats to prove your point ? I more people killed jay walking or car crashes I think.

I think it's high time they introduced honey badgers to Australia to deal with those slithers.

Attempt to go over the water? The one that bound me was over water around my left leg like lighting, it danced on top of the water barely touching it!
