Ghost is the name of an anonymous devil worshipping ministry, that in order to spread its unholy gospels and, furthermore, trick mankind into believing the end is ultimately a good thing, have decided to use the ever so popular rock music medium as a way to achieve their ends.

I saw GHOST open for Mastodon/Opeth back in '12. I never heard of them. As soon as they opened with Con Clavi, my jaw dropped. It was heaven to my ears.
This will always be the GHOST sound that I prefer even though the other albums are great.

when i listened to this on the livestream i wasent that fussed on ghost upon first hearing them decided to listen to them again a few days ago randomly and now im low key obsessed with them lol i love that they are half classic hard rock half early metal band in terms of sound the gothic and satanic themes and imagery also help alot along with the album covers inspired by classic horror films this is their best album i think personally although i enjoy all of them a fair bit

I love the rawness of the production quality of this album. I can see how they evolved in terms of becoming a pure pop-metal act and streamlining the sound. They took cues from masters of Arena Rock.

Just discovered this record. Duff played Ritual on his Sirius/XM show. Listened to Ritual and had to have more. Brilliant. Ghost is det not like any other group musically. It's so many music styles combined, and yet it sounds so good. ❤️🤘👊💪☠️👺
