Forry's Mill Covered Bridge is located in West Hemifield in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It spans Chiques Creek and was built in 1869 by a man named McMellen. The covered bridge is 103 feet in length and is a double burr arch design. I love the look of these old covered bridges. I find it impressive they are able to support modern vehicles even at 153 years old! Are there any covered bridges in your area? Feel free to list your favorite one below in the comments, and let me know if you want to see more covered bridge explorations in the future. Thanks for watching. And remember, we are, alive in history!
