The genius of these videos is you not getting tired of explaining and reexplaining time and again. Which not only makes it interesting but easy to understand.

Thank you for your generosity

I'm honestly so impressed that you learned all of it in 6 weeks!  I was about to give up ccna because other people's courses were overwhelming. It is still very hard for me, but with your help, I can manage it.  Thank you! 👍

I found your video series years ago when you were first releasing it. it helped me pass my CCNA failed the first time then i started watching your videos. Studied the hell out of wan technologies as it was my weakest score and ended up with a 80% after watching your videos. I'm now back rewatching these videos to renew my CCNA then go to CCNP next. Thanks for all you do. This video course is worth its data in gold for anyone new to networking and to the IT field curious about what it takes to become a network engineer.

TIP, if you're not able to see the MAC addresses when using show mac address-table in the switches. Do the process again but pause the timer once the pings are done. There's a timer on the bottom left that isn't paused by default once the pings are done(at least in my case) so the addresses get deleted after 5 minutes since they are dynamic(aging).

Steps to follow that were not at beginning of lab:

1. Go into both SW1 + SW2. Enable>clear mac-address-table.

2. Go into PC1. Desktop>Command Prompt. Type arp -d to clear arp. These steps will show in simulation mode that the switches start looking for mac addresses.

3. Make sure to exit simulation mode and go back to realtime before checking mac address tables on switches.

If you don't do this before pinging PC3 from PC1, you will only see ICMP types and no ARP types.

Teacher is an architect of a nation. I think YOU are a grate teacher. May Allah help you.

For those trying this out and not seeing the arp request, you might need to first clear the arp table of the PCs using arp -d at the command prompt. If its still not working, try to clear the arp table of the routers just in case.

The Cisco CCNA publications can be a bit overwhelming at times. But these presentations clarify, simplify and explain things so well that they are a fist-class companion to them.

Jeremy, you are a wonderful teacher and one of the best I've ever seen in my entire life. Your explanations and re-explanations are awesome, especially your flashcards. Your CCNA course is the best course on YouTube for me.😉👍
