Never trust a ticket scalper, especially when they’re holding a handful of tickets. That right there is a huge red flag because what kind of a person can afford to buy that many tickets to resell cheaper.

The Plaintiffs were cornballs. You buy tickets on the street, then feign surprise because they were fake. Really?

The plaintiffs say they went there to watch the game, but if that were their main objective they should have bought tickets in advance instead of risking that they’d get some illegally.

The men got ripped off, but they showed up without tickets in hopes of getting some hot tickets.

Defendant is obnoxious but the plaintiffs were too especially in the exit interview

A few years ago I went to the UGA vs Notre Dame football game and scalped a ticket. Before I paid for the ticket I asked the guy to call me on the phone while I stood next to him, he did. Then I said, I want a picture of you and me holding the ticket, he did. Tickets turned out to be good. With scalpers you never know. I now used electronic tickets that are guaranteed.

Seems like the ticket guy was the one scammed. Lost $200 for someone he leased work to. Don’t even see why they tried to paint him in a bad light when he offered the money back before ever getting sued. They really thought they were going to get a free trip. Even when the victim people still have to be dishonest

Everybody knows when you're buying tickets on the street is a possibility that you're going to be scammed and they're not real you try to be greedy to get more money out of the man and it's call karma

Plaintiffs tried to get greedy. They were scammed and got their money back. They wanted a payday tho

I'm on the ticket man's side on this one! Ridiculous for the plaintiffs to try to make a payday out of this, and by the way, they attacked the wrong guy.

I'd like to know how many tickets were "reissued online" after being mailed to NY on Thursday ...

Defendant is annoying, but he did offer the money back for the tickets and the plaintiffs should have taken it. If they didn't come with the tickets beforehand, they were already expecting to spend money on food and a hotel. They weren't mislead down to NY.

Honestly, I dont think the Plaintiffs should have gotten anything. I mean who travels to a different state for a ballgame like that and chooses to buy their tickets on the street instead of online or directly from an authorized broker? Buying tickets off the street is like buying a watch off the street. Its a massive risk...and if it doesn't work out, I don't think you can just sue.

The reason why "his industry has a bad name" is not because of a few bad apples; They make money by "buying on consignment" (which means they don't pay anything until it sells) making those tickets more expensive. Then your business makes profit off of selling tickets for events that you otherwise have nothing to do with. That's a dirty business that just drives up the cost of tickets. What value does this "industry" provide?

The defendant is part of the problem with concert tix & other tix being so expensive. He's part of the cause of 90% of the up front seats costing 5x, 10x, 20x the face value of the ticket. He's part of the cause of Ticket-Bastard's "dynamic pricing" and "platinum seating" tix.

If Steve Carell ever has a bio movie the defendant would be spot on to portray him.
