This always was the original to me listening to it on Luxembourg. The Tornadoes was just the English version. We knew these as the Sputniks! Great times

Bonjour, cette musique, je l'ai entendue à la fin de l'année scolaire au Maroc
par les spotnicks en juin ou juillet 1956. Il y avait une une fusée avec un jeu de lumière au milieu de la cour d'école. Un spectacle ans plus tard.

all English Heinz was German they
had the first no 1 by an English band

La version avec orgue n'est pas des Spotnicks mais des Tornados !!! Les Spotnicks l'interprètent à la guitare.

I prefer Fagin's Boys version, to be honest. And that isn't saying much. I'd rather listen to "Furtwangler" by Fagin's Boys, which is what I was looking for before I was side-tracked by this. This sounds like something Rolf Harris might have conjured up on his didgery doo-dah or his style-less-o-phone.

They literally copied the original version of The Tornados, except for changing one note on the verse In the A major part, A..E/F#..C# instead of A..E/F#..E. And in the D Major part, D..A/B..F# instead of D..A/B..A....
