Post it's independence from the USSR, cities of Kazakhstan saw major development in every field and Almaty is a classic example of modern meets traditional! You'll find beautiful cobbled streets across the city, vintage architecture, and so many things to do in and around Almaty. I've tried to cover almost every place that you must visit in Almaty, and the following episodes will cover most places in the outskirts like day tours and so on, to the lakes, canyons and spas.

HI, we are planning to visit almaty in March 3rd week. Would like to know about weather will there be snow during march 20-27 . also our flight lands at night is there pre paid taxi available from airport to reach city center area .

Are you aware of the fact that rigvedic aryan tribes came from Kazakhstan? This place is the land of my ancestor, thats where the earliest form of vedic sanskrit along with oldest chariots first ever developed.
