In regards to the blue tinting on icey soles, imo this is the best thing Nike has done to the OG retros. The blue tint fades out over 6 to 12 months and then stays clear. I have shoes 10 yrs old that are still clear, if it they werent tinted blue they would have gone yellow after 1 or 2 yrs

Great vid as always Brian. Black Metallic AJ5s, AJ4 Fears and the AJ1 High Black Toe Reimagined all look really good. I agree with you the AJ4 Fears look so good on the updated shape. BM5 the tweaks to the silhouette look quite good as well but does seem certain models still have some work to go to get even closer to OG. I also would have preferred not going with that icy blue outsole on the AJ5 Black Metallics, if memory serves the last retro (believe in 2016) made the same choice. AJ4 Fears and the AJ5 Black Metallics both must cops. Black Metallic AJ5s will be one of my earliest must cops of 2025.

Black Toe Reimagined probably the only AJ1 i am going for in 2024 ; still not big on the medial text but i can live with it and def going for them. The one thing that i need clarity on ; maybe my eyes are playing tricks but are these going to have a sail outsole or no ? some pics the outsole looks more sail than others. Going for them either way would just like clarity on that Brian if you could.
