Juwel Easy Feed automatic fish feeder review - how to use it and how long it lasts
Показать описание
In this video I show how to use the battery operated Juwel Easy Feed automatic fish feeder. It is a small automatic feeder which I bought from Pet City in Brisbane for about $65 (it came with the batteries in the pack).
You can set it to either 1 feed per 24hrs, or 2 feeds per 24hrs. You can adjust how much food it releases with each feed to an extent.
For my tank of ~25 medium-large sized African Cichlids (+3 Bristlenose catfish), the food lasted just over 4-days when releasing the largest amount it can twice per day which was more than enough for my fish. It can last about 9 feeds altogether on that setting.
Overall I am really happy with it's performance for the cost, even though it is quite small it is still useable for larger tanks. If I was to go away for 2-weeks, I would buy another one and set them on 1 feed per day on the lowest setting and I think that this would work just fine, as I wouldn't want to overfeed them anyway. I probably wouldn't leave them longer than that though. I will post another video if I ever do that!
I hope you found this video helpful, and please let me know in the comments if you have any questions :)
